Hr recruitment agencies may have the best year they have had in some time as an unexpected effect of the credit crunch in the UK.
Large companies in all sorts of sectors are having to run extensive downsizing operations often involving mass redundancies and compensation packages. At present they don't have the staff to achieve this and also don't have the means to find the good people they need quickly. Consequently they are turning to recruitment agencies for help.
