Sponsorship Activation Director up to £100,000 plus excellent benefits

Our client is about to embark on a long term strategy of investment in sports sponsorship. They are committing millions of pounds to a wide portfolio of sports including football, athletics, tennis and swimming. This will include the sponsorship of high profile events as well as outreach community programmes across the UK.

We are looking for a sponsorship activation guru who has already worked in an organisation that employs more than 50,000 staff and can demonstrate success in "engaging" the internal audience and the many different stakeholders. Your external audience includes consumers of all ages and backgrounds, shareholders, the City and the media as well as those who work in the sports administration arena.

You will have managed marketing agencies across the mix from digital and TV advertising to events, experiential and PR and be able to build your own in-house team of up to 30 staff. You will be able to plan activation strategies, implement programmes, measure results and present these to the Group Marketing Director and the Board.

You will need to be able to demonstrate that you can work with budgets exceeding £30 million
